Canary Islands Day. La Gomera

On 30 May the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands celebrates its day. On this date the Canary people commemorates the celebration of the first session of the Parliament of the Canary Islands, body created in the Statute of Autonomy of the Canary Islands of 1982, under the 1978 Constitution of democratic Spain.

Cabildo de La Gomera has presented the programme for the celebration of Canary Islands Day, which on this occasion reaches the six municipalities with various musical shows, conferences, conferences for children and feature film screenings, all with a close link to the culture of the islands and the talent of the land.
