How to get here

The Canary Islands are the southernmost point of Europe. There are frequent flights every day connecting with most EU countries and Russia in just a few hours.

Although La Gomera has an airport, it is only for flights between the islands, meaning that, to get here from Europe, you’ll have to change flights in Tenerife or Gran Canaria.

Another way to get to La Gomera is to take a boat from Tenerife. The Fred Olsen and Naviera Armas shipping companies currently operate a pleasant route that doesn’t take more than 60 minutes.

Border Control
If you are travelling to a country belonging to the Schengen (most EU countries), when you arrive you do not have to go through any kind of security check at the airport.

When arriving from countries outside this area, such as the United Kingdom or Ireland, you will have to go through customs on arrival at the airport in the Canary Islands.
