Buying antiques in La Gomera
Located in Valle Gran Rey, the most popular tourist destination in La Gomera, on the west of the island, this market has been giving people the chance to purchase all manner of second hand goods in the Plaza Lomo de Riego, since 2007. It takes place on the second Sunday of every month, selling a variety of antiques, books and toys, and it’s never hard to find something of interest here. Increasingly popular, the market has added to the already huge appeal of the area, which also boasts one of the best beaches on the island, Playa del Inglés.

Although you’re on holiday, in which case you’ll probably have some spare time on your hands, a stroll around this market is bound to result in unearthing some lovely items, and there are plenty of leisure activities to enjoy as well.
