Traveling exhibition: Cuando baja, sube rica

The traveling exhibition “Cuando baja, sube rica: Bajada de la Virgen de las Nieves” is an open-air educational display touring various municipalities across the Canary Islands starting in the summer of 2025, beginning in Breña Baja, passing through Guía de Isora, and soon arriving in Valle Gran Rey, La Gomera. Through bilingual thematic panels, the exhibition offers a deep exploration of the religious, cultural, ethnographic, and social values of the Fiestas Lustrales, explaining the origin, protocol, main events, and symbolism of this tradition from La Palma, officially recognized as a Cultural Heritage Asset.
