Festivities of La Encarnación

The Festivities in Honor of Nuestra Señora de la Encarnación in Hermigua, as well known as "Fiestas del Ocho", are a traditional celebration that includes a variety of events and activities for all ages. The festive program ranges from sports activities and children's games to musical performances, featuring Josefina Alemán's show "México Inolvidable." During the festivities, there is a children's gala where the prince and princess of the festival are chosen. Additionally, a mass is held in honor of Our Lady of the Incarnation, followed by a procession through the town's streets, accompanied by the municipal band. The celebration concludes with a grand dance, enlivened by Latin music orchestras, among other events.
