Festivities in honor of San Juan in Hermigua

The town of Hermigua celebrates its traditional Festivities in Honor of Saint John with a program that blends religious devotion, cultural heritage, and joyful celebration. Highlights include the lighting of the bonfire with a popular gathering and live music at Santa Catalina beach; a mass and procession through customary locations, followed by a shared community meal with traditional music; and the procession of the image from the church to La Caleta beach, where a heartfelt Eucharist is held.
