Commemorative Conference on the Gomero Whistle

La Gomera will host an international conference on the Silbo Gomero, bringing together experts and researchers from around the world to address the challenges of articulated whistled languages. This event, organized by the Island Council in coordination with the Silbo Gomero Cultural Association, marks the 15th anniversary of its designation as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
