Chipude Craft Fair

The town of Chipude, in La Gomera, celebrates the Día de la Candelaria with a Craft Fair, an event that brings together artisans from the island to showcase traditional crafts such as basketry, leatherwork, crochet, and artisanal pastries. In addition to the craft stalls, the event features workshops, children's activities, live music, and a wine tasting, fostering a connection between tradition and the local community. The festivity also includes a Eucharist in honor of Nuestra Señora de Candelaria and concludes with a raffle of handmade products, highlighting the value of local craftsmanship and the importance of preserving these customs.
