This is one of the most important witnesses of industrial architecture of the island of La Gomera, erected between 1907 and 1908. It was built to export fruits (mainly bananas and tomatoes) and people. It was built in two phases, and we can still see the prisms. Due to the construction of the road island and the port of San Sebastian, the davit fell into disuse, being dismantled in the late 1950’s.
